The Unseen Academy was founded by The Unseen acting school. Tired of seeing young talent undertrained – every class is rooted in real technique – Stanislavski, Meisner, physical storytelling, screen craft – taught by people involved in the industry.
Most youth drama focuses on confidence and fun. We go further. Every Unseen Academy class is structured around four professional disciplines – the same ones that underpin training at the UK’s most respected institutions – adapted for young people who are ready to be taken seriously.
Stanislavski and Meisner-based technique adapted for young performers. We teach listening, presence, and emotional truth - not performing at an audience.
Camera technique, self-tape skills, continuity, and eyeline work. Screen acting is a different craft to stage - smaller, stiller, and unforgiving of pretence.
Breath, resonance, dialect, and text analysis - the foundation of every great stage performance.
Movement, physical theatre, and body-as-instrument work. The body tells the story the voice can't.
